Moe is now a senior IP Lawyer (Advocate, Serial No. 15545) in Rouse Myanmar Office in Yangon since 2013. His scope of work includes advising clients on trade mark and patent prosecution in Myanmar.
Moe started his legal career as an IP lawyer at The Law Chambers, led by Ms. Tin Ohnmar Tun, a former President of ASEAN IPA.
In 2011 he joined Myanmar Brewery Limited, the most famous Company in Myanmar and the Owner of Myanmar Beer Brand. Whilst there he suggested that a new bottle design was registered as a Design and this enabled Myanmar Brewery to succeed in stopping a third party from using a huge amount of the company’s bottles.
Moe has lectured at the University of Yangon since 2005 to 2010. He is also one of the IP practitioners who actively cooperated in the IP laws drafting process and has been cooperating in implementation of IP laws together with respective government ministry and bill committees.
He is also alumnus of Inter Pacific Bar Association’s Scholars in 2010 and joins ASEAN Intellectual Property Association in 2009. Now he becomes a Myanmar Councillor of ASEAN Intellectual Property Association (2016- at present) and a Central Executive Committee Member of Myanmar Intellectual Property Proprietors’ Association (MIPPA) in the same year up till now.
With his recommendation, three local young lawyers who have potential and talent got full scholar of Inter Pacific Bar Association in 2011 for Japan, 2012 for Korea and 2017 for New Zealand respectively. He is still selecting and recommending local young lawyers for such kind of scholar for each year.
